« on: October 23, 2016, 07:20:24 AM »

Finally a brand is adding colored softs to their scheme of things. Till date one had to make special orders for these

Looks nice

I'm not good enough to have played in coloured clothing, is blue the most popular colour?

They really need to invest in a dictionary and rethink this name 😂😂😂. Can't quite believe they've done that. What are they intending for people to do with it exactly?!

Agreed. I often buy bats based on the fact that they are endorsed by "Blank". He's my favourite player.

Just seen that these come in 2 grades. The cheapest of which (Flare, pictured above) are about £77 for pads and gloves. You can pay £30 for clads! So for an extra £45 or so you get proper pads and a set of matching gloves? Seems like good value.

They look good, well done Kookaburra!

Jake, are any other companies going to do the same this year?

In terms of Large brands and being available off the shelf, no. GN coloured pads are available as special orders with minimums of 8 or 10 from memory, lead time about 8 weeks. GM don't offer coloured gear to the public to my knowledge.

Via B&S, H4L and Focus we could arrange coloured pads and gloves in small numbers, even as ones offs. We would need some notice and for the customer to be prepared to wait.

Hunts usually have a reasonable selection of coloured pads in stock.

Anyone that has purchased or selling the t20 pads able to comment the major differences between the flare and pro? Is one lighter/less bulky than the other?
