Such a shame! Think this could be the last times he's seen on the international scene.
I'm not sure Steyn's done just yet. He was bowling rapidly in this match, up at 93mph. He just needs to get over this shoulder issue. 6 months it's being reported as, so in theory he should make the tour to England. But South Africa need to get an all rounder in to ease the burden on Steyn/Philander/Morkel all who have been injured at various points over the last 12-18 months.

There is a young off spinner called Kevin who is on the verge of qualifying, he could take some of the burden, bats a bit too.

I don't believe we at Hogwarts are allowed to mention his name!

I think the SA bowlers are being under estimated. They took 9/80 or thereabouts without Steyn who bowled extremely poorly on the first day. They have enough part timers in this team to take the slack at an end.

Steyn might've bowled poorly, but he was bowling quickly.

I can't see Australia have to many fears against Elgar, Duminy and du Plessis if they send down some of their very limited spin bowling...

South Africa basically are left with 2 fast bowlers and 4 spinners, ideal if they where playing in the subcontinent, less so in Australia

And yet they still took 9/80

I wouldn't have put money on either Elgar or duminy getting 100s but both have. SA'a day so far, lead building up nicely and only 2 down
Aussie bowlers definitely under cooked

295-3 Duminy out for 141. Siddle with the wicket. Duminy's innings since his 166 many moons ago. Lead is 293.

Starc is labouring, speed gun says he bowling quickly but he's lacking that venom. They are missing Pattinson he offers a little X factor.

Elgar goes...lead 320+ already. Aussie commentators sounding a bit desperate and clutching on straws
