Ordered this from Red Ink following some quite extensive research into a new bat for the kid.
Must say I'm extremely happy and a big thanks to john. Best value out there.
Lovely butterfly. With straight grains through the toe.

Slightly bowed



29mm edge, 55 mm spine (a beast for a size 3)


Mid/mid-high middle as requested and thin handle. My daughters name is also punched into the shoulder which is a nice touch. Weight 1lb 12 oz. her old size 2 was 1lb 10oz so a similar weight. Finishing is top drawer and for £62 delivered I am well pleased.

Big thanks John and would thoroughly recommend.

@Buzz - I can think of a young man who might like something around this size (and I'm not talking about @uknsaunders  :))

Was a pleasure making it. Love making junior bats like this. Just makes me jealous thinking back to the planks I used to use at that age! Hope she enjoys using it!
