Trio of G2's
« on: November 17, 2016, 02:35:04 PM »

I picked up a Hattori recently from @Chad is his large sell off at the end of the season. Using it for indoor cricket and in the nets I fell in love with it and particularly the feel of the H4L's (Something about the size/shape of the handle I think)

Following this and all the glowing reviews of all the Warbirds/Fifty50's I ordered one of each from @hell4leather cricket and @Uzi Sports respectively. I must say both are an absolutely pleasure to deal with in the ordering process and both bats arrived pretty quickly.

I'll do a full review shortly but thought you might enjoy the pictures more.

Fantastic looking bats. It's hard to believe those bats are G2.

if the G2 50/50 is a grade 2 because of a pin knot that's unbelievable

So additional pics of all 3 as promised.

Early impressions of the Fifty50 (just swinging it around the house) is that the pickup to me appears a little heavy although I get the impression it's a powerful bat. The Warbird picks up like a feather and the Hattori is a really good alround stick.

After fighting my bat buying and custom bat forum addiction for 2+ years I've relapsed by returning to the forum and bat buying by purchasing this H4l 50/50 on a well known selling website.

Well so far so good with the bat scored a hundred with it first game of season. First ton in 10 years and only third in over twenty years. So would be pretty fair to say I love the bat!

Glad to hear @pablomarmite !  I Always said it was a good stick just didn't feel right to me!

Just goes to show how perceptive bats and their pickups are!

Amazing congratulations

I think having a bat you can trust can breed confidence which then in turn ups your game

Prob not going to believe this but in second game got 51! My perception of bat is that is quite soft has cracked a bit but is a goer! Very long middle and suits my style. To be fair I have also radically changed my technique to a high bat up in stance. A few guys who have seen me bat a lot over the years said that 50 was best they've ever seen me bat. So whether it is bat or technique or both I'm happy!
