these are definitely lighter than the vision series, not sure on the exact weights but can weigh these for u

@Uzi Sports, would like to see a few more photos of the OS helmet if possible (inside padding). Any compromises in safety compared to the VS helmets?

If it's available to buy then it will have passed the new standard, which means it's theoretically just as safe as anything else on the market.

That said, Shrey helments passed the standard and the "issues" with those have been well documented. A pass is a pass on the new standards, and we don't get to see the actual results, so I guess you could say all passes are not equal...

Must agree with you there @WalkingWicket37 - not all passes are equal it seems... but likewise I can't imagine Masuri would send something out 'into the wild' without being completely happy with what they put their name on both in terms of safety and quality.

Personally I'm very interested in the new cloth covered Original Series helmet because I've struggled with the sizing of the Vision Series. Masuri have said the sizing is based on the older model which fitted well so I'm keen to try these out!

I too struggled with the sizing of the vision series, especially the tightening mechanism.
I asked on twitter whether the new OS had this or the old school velcro strap at the back and Masuri replied telling me it uses neither instead its "soft cell foam linling to contour to head size, no adjustor required"

I live 5 minutes from Owzat so will be trying one on to see if it will replace my Shrey master class ti.

Ok so I tried the new OS on today.
Medium size was a little too tight meaning the grill didn't cover all my big jaw.
Large was too big moving when I wobbled my head, so I'm somewhere between the two :/
It was comfortable tho and felt better than when I first wore my shrey.

Not ideal for me as I like to store my gloves I'm my helmet, and I don't really want my lid moulded to fit those instead of my head!

Quick update on this.
I mentioned to Masuri on Twitter that medium was too small and large too big, they then sent out 2 different inner foam thickness to Owzat for me to try (thick and thin varieties) with no charge.
Nipped in today and changing the foam inside (front/back/inner shell) made a big difference and I decided on the large size with thicker insert foam.
Great customer service from Masuri.
