Pretty solid. Only had it a day and not fully knocked in but it has that sound that belongs to L&W bats.

Other comments at this stage, for a reserve, I wanted a few more grains but it doesn't really matter that much. My biggest issue with it is the handle size. It is tiny, I have ordered a new grip from Jake and I hope that will make it feel a lot more substantial. The shoulders are really thin as well.

This will sound weird. My other bats feel like toys, this feels more like an instrument.

Not yet sure about it as a whole but I'll wait until I've netted a little before I pass judgement. Guess that is part of the reality of ordering bats online or having them made and not purchased in a shop.

I have a l&w bat from 2009 and the handle was perfect.

Hi mate - I know some on here have done it themselves but I got Ryan Kelsall to do it for me as he's local. Where are you based as I'm sure any batmaker would do it for you.

Its quite clear to most people that there most definitely is.

I have only one knob attached to my handles , but only when I'm batting . The rest of the time said knob is on this forum , living life etc . The other knob thats meant to be on my handles I cut off . I do this to make them super short handles , but I also love the 'baseball bat' handle feel too .

All the baseball bats I have ever used/seen have quite a pronounced knob on the end of the bat to prevent it being launched by the batter in their swing. How is removing the top of the bat handle making it "baseball style"?

There appears to be some confusion here. "no knob" means without the baseball style end. Therefore there is no raised section at the top / counterbalance / baseball style end. So for clarity, that is straight with no knob.

I prefer it that way.

Thank you. I've decided it does not have the round face I had asked for and I am debating whether it is worth feeding that bat. However, with a thick spiral grip the bat has a fantastic pick up. Although it does make the bat over 2'11.
