Do these player editions come in the same weight as what the player uses or they vary?

The bats are made to the players size and shape, weight varies due to willow density.

Thanks! What I mean is few oz variation maybe expected due to natural wood variation, but other than that, do they release these specifically in wide weight ranges such as 2-8 to 2-13 something like that of if the player uses 2-8 say, they tend to be around 2-8 mostly?

GM don't say what weight the player uses. There is some variation yes, Robin had 2 GM Joe Root Six6 bats, one at 2'9 and one at 2'11

All current GM Player Edition bats are listed as having a 3 rating on the GM Pickup Index but to be honest the Travis Head bats I've seen make a mockery of that, the pickup is superb.

I am a little moist after unboxing this delivery....

Jake did you get much of an opportunity to hit the mallet off one of these bats? Could do with someone purchasing a de kock as I'd love to know what they turn out like.

De Kock uses a (probably larger variant) Icon F2 shape. The buyer of one of these Travis Head bats has already indicated he will more than likely be going for a De Kock bat next, he hasn't collected his Travis Head bat yet but hopefully he will provide an update on performance on the forum. Excellent feedback when bouncing a ball on it.

Yeah I think that might be what I will do next.  What surprised me most is how big the hitting area is I've used my mana quite a lot now and it never feels like you mistime the ball.  Will do a review soon of it as well as the scorch I got off Gary.

Just to answer some question about the de kock. I spoke to gm earlier this week and they said the players bats profile change quite a lot and change when the pros change their shape. De kock is using neon stickers this year and like jake says he is using an oversized version of the f2 icon. They uploaded a video today of laser engraving on twitter and that bat is in fact a de kock player edition for a customer. Don't really get to see to much of the bat but the spine looks a lot more pronounced.

I received a text message from the owner of this bat this morning

I am a little moist after unboxing this delivery....

"had a net with it this morning, I am in love. Only wondering why I chose to get a QDK and not another Travis Head bat as my next order. Thanks again. Might just be the best bat I have ever used..."
