20g difference in a ~800g pad seems more likely to be down to manufacturing differences than anything else?

Monster looks cracking, what do you have to bribe Matt with to get one of these ha?

Review, specially for @InternalTraining :
Warbird:
Bow = big
Ping = big

Fifty50:
Bow = big
Ping = bigger

:D

Hahahhaa.

Thanks for the additional information, much appreciated. :)

These bats are beautiful, worthy of being put on a wall!

I did aggressively seek a big, low-den bat but eventually gave up on it due to long wait - these clefts are very hard to come by. I want to start knocking my bats for the next season. You and Mr. @JB are very lucky!

  • Bend it like Fattus!!

I really, really like the Warbird shape. I'm going to be drinking a lot over the next 10 days - I reckon I'll end up with another one!

Doubt you'll get it in 2.11 as Simons was the lightest matt had ever seen and his is 2.10 i think

What's the weight then @Chad ? :) How does the GN feel in the hands compared to the Monster?
Bump on this Chad... what is the weight?

Naked weight with the Handel twined was 2.10 so would say around 2.12  which is still very light for the size of it as it's got a big spine and shoulders toe than the gn and still it's lighter

I was impressed that the GN was 2'13 with 47-48mm edges, 71-73mm spine and 25mm toe!
But that H4L is like the GN's bigger brother! And weighs a little less too, which is a shocker!!

Those bats remind me of 2 rugby players I love watching!
so from here on in, your GN and H4L Monster bats will now be known as the Vunipolas!!

@Chad thanks for the updated review and once again stunning bats.
One question though how come you paid Pro price £350 for a G2 bat?? A G2 cleft is just that isn't it if it's low density to make it that size for the weight that call it a pro. As long as your happy day went really matter but as you say £350 for a G2 is steep

I measured mine this morning, its got 46-47mm edges 71-72mm spine weighing i think 2.10.6 with one grip and no scuff. They are huge bats for the weight

Pure one offs
Just shows what's out there, especially when you cut your own willow and are not restricted to what wrights will sell you
And someone reckons the forums going downhill, where else can you see bats like that
