Yeah hope so was from a mistimed drive.

It has been knocked in for a long time and I only used old balls in the nets at the beginning, the indentations was from very quick balls hitting the toe.

Hope that there is still hope to get a good resolution from this :/

Msged them, they said it will need to be brought in for assessment but generally toes are not covered by warranty :/

The guy suggested getting a hard toe on there? I tried looking info up but can't find any, does anyone know what's this hard toe and how does it affect performance?

I think a hard toe is a mixture of epoxy and cane and rubber from an old handle with is rasped and then the raspings mixed with the epoxy and placed on the toe of the bat to set before being sanded flush. Only really good on older bats as the toe compresses a little over time and if that process hasn't happened yet as it's quite new the hard toe can crack when the toe try to compress and take some toe with it

If you live in Brisbane, Keith Dudgeons do an excellent composite toe. They guarantee that they will never come off.

They should attempt repair under warranty, a crack through the blade (even in the toe) has nothing to do with knocking in.

They said toe damage usually doesn't come under warranty though?

Without them having seen the bat, they may be assuming the normal toe damage from not enough prep. I took my NB in with cracks all across the face of the bat after knocking with a mallet only and was told by the young fellow that it was fine and to keep using it. I insisted that they send to NB for assessment and they immediately offered a replacement or refund. You have paid a lot of money for your bat so make sure you get them to send to the manufacturer!

They will repair if you push (which you shouldn't have to) If they try and get out of it, demand it be sent to manufacturer for inspection.

as others have said these hairline cracks thru the toe are a nightmare, I would be politely requesting a replacement if it was mine....

Some would say translated they are saying  we can't be bothered to help you
But do as others have suggested and request the is sent back to the manufacturer.
