wow well done Norbair! Sounds like a cracking bat...or was it the player?!

I would say it was 75% Norb's cracking piece of willow and 23% my unique technique and 2% the macaroon I had at tea.

Thanks to those lovely new thigh pads and gloves I take it?  :P

Haha congrats anyway mate, I've been terrible this season. Need a good few hours in the nets, but messing around with school and work I haven't had a session since last August.

The gloves are awesome! Really comfortable - the soft fill feels nicer then my SS Super Test and the palms feel softer too - they have been promoted to my no.1 pair. The thigh pads give great protection, though I'm having trouble with the front one staying in place - might make a few modifications to it to make it fit better.

9 against some pretty quick bowler's i think i got one ball pitched up my whole innings. Played two cracking pulls though one all along the ground and the other i really got hold off and dropped just inside the boundary. I middled another pull and the squarwe leg dived and just managed to catch it one handed right down low. It was an unbelievable catch even he said after the game he wouldn't back himself to do it again.
