Just found these on the Hawk website.

Was going to start a thread but Leo beat me to it.... 18 months ago.

Anyone used one of these? Do they do a job or is it just a novelty item?

I have two, they work alright, But I find with time the sock gets a bit loose as you would expect from it being pulled on and off when using the bat.

I have a couple of the Hawk ones. They're good for preventing dings and marks on bats in the kitbag and I store my bats in the garage with the socks on in winter. Prefer them to bat sleeves
