Tim Bresnan joins Kippax
« on: January 08, 2017, 05:47:44 PM »

Just sen that Tim Bresnan has joined Kippax for the 2017/18 season

https://twitter.com/KippaxCricket/status/816370080346939392

Has anyone seen what he's using in the BBL, as I believe it's still the 2016/17 season in Australia.
If it hasn't already, I wonder when the deal will start

Believe he's using Kippax mate, there's a fair few tweets from his sponsors and the kippax lads are retweeting a fair few pics with colossus bats. I'm sure he'll be a great ambassador for the brand, interesting to see if the Durham opener now at Surrey (name escapes me) stays on board and promotes the brand down south.

I've seen a few tweets and images with Bresnan and his Kippax colossus, it's very big signing for them.

I'm not sure why they are so underrated on the forum, they make some fantastic bats and also support a lot of local pros too.

Pretty sure Bresnan had a bit of a link with Kippax anyway?  When I was at Kippax there was a couple of used Bresnan Woodworms in.  I put two and two together and assumed Kippax made but could have just been in for repair??

Great signing Tim in my mind is a very underrated Cricketer and one of the cleanest strikers of the  cricket ball good luck to Kippax and Tim

Some of the players just fit their sponsors don't they.

Vaughan and his GM purist scoring runs for fun in oz 2002(I think he got 3 tons on 5 tests) , Strauss and cookie with GN Powrbows/legends/whatever the current one is

Ponting and Hussey with kook.

And big Bres with something huge from Kippax.  :)

Oh and trotty with GM icon, he didn't look right with new balance.

Bet Kingsgrove Sports are also enjoying the free endorsement of their brand.

@Seniorplayer , I wasn't suggesting for a second that Kippax make Woodworms bats, more that they could make Bresnans bats who then applies the Woodworm stickers?  I'm sure I've read on here before about speculation that Hawk made bats for KP & Bell but I didn't for a second therefore assume that Hawk made all bats for Kookaburra & Adidas!
