Hi All,

As we attempt to revitalise the social side of our club we are being brave and attempting to arrange a tour (of sorts)

There have been many successful tours that club members remember fondly so we thought this year we would try again and after much deliberation decided to grace Scarborough with out presence.

The aim is take in the Yorks v Essex in County Champ Div1, which starts at 11:00 on Sunday

Have a match on the Monday and then home again on the Tuesday.

As yet we have not secured some opposition so thought I would put it out there to the forum to see if any local teams might be interested in a friendly game on Monday the 7th.

Obviously I appreciate this is a working day but apparently in previous tours this hasn't seemed to prove an issue in getting opposition so we are trying for it again.

Start times and formats can all be worked out.

I know Sewerby (about 15-20 miles of Scarborough and very close to Bridlington) are always on the look out for Sunday fixtures. Ground is literally 20 yards from the sea and do nice teas.
