Rather than starting a new thread thought I'd post a question in here relating to this topic.

What is the Millichamp mallet made from? I assume it's the same as the one Julian Millichamp uses.

Well you can it free for me then as broke mine knocking bats in this year and spent two hours on that scat before you got all the benifits

They are not sold in Taunton, the best I know for are the Puma/M&H style ones, I have about 6/7 here, I'll bring some for Tom et al.

If you have a few there you could put one to one side for me and send it with the bats in a couple of weeks if possible mike as heard these are easier to knock bats in with?

The lignum vitae is very heavy and in the wrong hands will simply produce a crack each time you hit the bat, not one for the amateur.

No one sells these, you can get one made but not cheap. I did use one and also use a cobblers hammer but the skill level required is high and one mistake can ruin a bat.
