Looks like you had a great time guys, some super shots there Ed! Looking in great nick, plenty of runs this season please ;)

Next time you're thinking of doing another one would love to come along, and sure @t2ylo would too.
Thanks mate, I hope so!

Yes definitely need to sort another one out, be good to have you along and see some of these nice looking bats you're turning out!

We chatted about that earlier James and I'm keen for another, maybe on a weekend would suit better?

Thanks for putting this up edge, any advice with the leg side stuff would be welcome?, I think it's a combination of problems I'm yet to work through and although there were a few balls down leg side that I wouldn't chase after in game, the few that I did connect with were off balance and akin to playing Russian roulette

No bother mate! Had a quick look and seems like a simple case of too much bottom hand trying to get it behind square on the leg side. 3:17 is a good example in the video, as you make contact your bottom hand is actually behind your top hand. Doesn't take a big change to fix it, but life gets much easier if you aim straighter, through mid-on or midwicket with a straight bat, and then use the top hand to guide it into whatever gap you're trying to get it through rather than trying to bottom hand it down fine. KP and De Villiers both explain about the hands and playing straighter well in these:

Thanks mate, I will take a look at the two videos at some point this afternoon.
I'd recently opened up my front foot hoping that it would enable me to access the leg side easier but it hasn't worked.
I'm still playing all around my front pad and I totally agree that I should be driving a lot of the balls through the on side.
Work in progress but I will keep practising.
