I want to be realistic Dan,I've used a lot of Indian made SS bats, till 2000 their press and quality was good. The problem with our youngsters is that they looking for bigger blades, they are not aware and I think they don't have much knowledge about cricket bats.Nowdays you can see many of the cricket bats looks like sachin bats. You have to understand that each was using anything between 1260 gms and 1360 gms that's a over sized cleft.Nowadays the bats looks very big with more than 40 mm edges with big toe and shoulders under 1170 gms to 1200 gms. What does this apparently mean? I'M not telling here SS is bad, people have to have a knowledge about bats.
