Nope, if you ask for a 2.10' then a 2.10' u should get, as it was I didn't actually ask for any particular weight, I was shown several ready made bats and told the weight of the one I particularly liked the look of, I was told it was 2.10', I therefore expected it to be the weight I had been told! Is that not a reasonable expectation?
Paul did take the bat back (at my expense) and reduce the weight, when I got it back it felt much better, but something appeared wrong, then I put the bat alongside another bat, the blade was now the same length as a warbird but without the longer handle! I felt pretty upset at that attempt to pull the wool over my eyes tbh, I returned the bat (again at my expense) for a refund, now I have not until now shared my experience with anybody other than Jake on here but felt I needed to explain alittle of where I am coming from when I posted last night.
It was a real shame as I loved the shape of the spectre and the finish was impeccable with a great ping, but nearly 5oz extra would take its toll during a longer innings for sure.
