Anybody used Millichamp and Hall pads?
« on: February 28, 2017, 12:07:44 PM »

On my journey through every pair of pads the world has ever seen, I'm considering purchasing some Type 1 pads from them. The ones with 9 canes in both legs.

Does anybody have and experience of them or m&h pads in general?

I've had a pair of the old leather type ones I got in a bundle 8-9 years ago and they were lovely. (£350 for top grade solution, pads, gloves and a leather bag!!!) Think those are the ones they rejigged and turned into the type 1's a few years ago. But I have seen blank bats doing precisely the same pads for a lot less money!! So I'd go for those if they can still get them. These are the ones with the fielding pads inside them yes? I really liked the design and they were really comfortable. Straps were a bit long that's the only fault I can remember but that depends how big/tall you are.

This is your lucky day @19reading87!

I've got the type 1 pads/gloves in MRH, literally worn for 10 mins in a net with @WalkingWicket37 - nothing wrong with them just surplus to requirements as I've got a set of GN legends too. Was literally about to stick them on the sale thread tonight if you're keen - £100 for the set?? Massive impulse purchase when I went to Taunton lol.

Pads/Gloves themselves are very good, just not going to get any use!

I have the old distinction ones as Well as the type 2(which are the same design) they are great very comfortable and light. I like the design too with the straight knee roll instead of the traditional style
