Quite possibly. But, as has been pointed out, available much cheaper with different stickers.

Just ask RS Sports... ;-)
But 12 year old boys are brand sensitive. Good job that changes as we get older!!!

Quite strong branding compared to, say, Hunts County? (No offence, Cam.)

I actually like this years Hunts County branding. The embossing and detailing is absolutely lovely in the flesh (something the pictures cannot do justice).
And just my opinion, but the Raw branding is slightly dull. There's nothing that stands out as different or interesting to me

Have you seen how many club cricketers are using New Balance bats?

Depends on availability too though. Up here we have naff all retailers so when the young ones want kit it's what the shops have. GN, GM, Kook are the most numerous. Also Legget and Coe but only cos one of the ex founders is at our club.

FYI, the bats (or at least the large majority) aren't Hunts anymore... might want to look at a certain oveRSeas producer...

(Added note in fairness to Raw, the gear supplied by said producer is very, very good so not knocking their kit. You can just get it cheaper elsewhere...)

Raw also helped by giving away free kit to certain players and then giving them 30% off all subsequent referrals.

Still more expensive than RS direct with the discount.

I was just highlighting that adults are brand conscious. There have been times I have wished I was Cam with tourettes - alerting certain 'up themselves' club cricketers to the fact that NB bats are made in the same place as Slazenger.

They sell the stickers, so you can get the look for less if so desired

I've never done that! I may well point it out this season now you've mentioned it though... :-[

I was assuming you don't actually have tourettes?

I totally get you. I wasn't arguing that and to be honest, I'd probably fall into the same category had I not stumbled upon this forum. My first bats were adidas and that was due to marketing and my desire to be a bit different. If only I'd known then......
