Hi all,

First time I've had the opportunity to be filmed whilst batting. Unfortunately only this one (of four, all working on different things) came out. This is left arm angle, probing around off stump and outside at 65.

Any advise/tips would be welcomed, as I'm always looking to improve.

Consider myself reprimanded!! If I get chance to film another session I'll make sure it's done in landscape

I didn't have a problem with the landscape, it came up full screen for me.

Other than your front foot pointing in funny directions I thought you look good.

Personally I would like to see your head moving to the line if the ball a bit more, this will help get your weight through the ball so you hit the ball harder with less effort and hit the ball more consistently under your eyes.

People have commented on that front foot before but I hadn't seen how open it is until now. I'm gonna try and get it pointing more towards extra.

I swear by each and every word of @Buzz says about batting, it does help immensely.

In addition to what has been pointed out here, I see the bat going to fine leg in the stance/backlift. Would be better if it goes straight back or  to 1st slip. But again, technique is secondary, if you are able to hit well on both off and on sides, nothing to worry about..
