Shocking omission imo. I presumed he was carrying an injury or something.

Or smith's favourite/mate is henriques. Aussie selection seems to follow that

Must be, Lynn is the form white ball batsman in the world atm or certainly one of them.

That's the problem with 10:30 starts - takes a while for people to get to the ground etc.
Only 2 D/N games this tournament...what a shame. ICC more worried about asian TV coverage

This! We got to the Alex Stewart gate yesterday to join a queue that was right round to the main gate! Only two gates open for a big international game like that was a joke. It's not like they've had to deal with that sort of thing before.

Great knock from Amla. 4th ton in just the third game though, definitely an even game for batsman/bowler...

Pakistan are an absolute joke in the field. When will their attitude towards fielding change?

Looks like Virat could use some Grip-Grip. He's made a meal of that.

Seems to be working for him though!

Seems to be plaguing both teams.

Overrun by India, Pakistan needs to pickup performance. Catching was bad for both team. Indian were excellent everywhere specially bowling

India totally humiliated and embarrassed Pakistan. Obviously India's batting is many leagues above the hopeless/hapless Pakistan batting unit. But Pakistan's much famed bowling attack was toothless. Why would any side go in with two spinners against India? More so when the spinners in question Imad and Shadab are nothing more than mediocre. Aside from Amir the rest looked out of their depth. To compound matters India's fast bowlers bullied Pakistan into submission. All in all India looked pretty handy, and must be a good side when Ashwin and Shami where benched.
