Extremely poor quality surface - don't see nz winning this or getting close. And now Taylor goes.
Should've sent in Anderson before broom

Nice to see England getting the results whilst carrying a player or two rather than slamming up close to 400 each and every game. Hopefully start firing on all cylinders for the big games here on in.

He shouldn't play but at this stage of the competition he's already on the team sheet to face The Aussies.

The team to face Australia is sooooo difficult to call.  On the one hand, you would say rest Stokes and Root, probably Wood too given his history, and make sure we have all of our best players to pick from in the semi final.  On the other, we want to stamp the Aussies out now if we possibly can, so perhaps you go strongest XI.

Obviously, there is the Bairstow issue, but I think we all know that even if he developed into a Murali class off spinner as a second string overnight, he's not getting a game!

This NZ team is the worst I have seen in awhile. After Taylor gets out we are doomed. Southee and Boult also struggling for their best form. Grinds my gears.

Is there many options?

Maybe Latham to the top and Ronchi down the middle. Henry to have a go and also Patel for Santner.

Problem is thou when carrying players  what happens when the guys who are getting the results fail...
