How much weight is saved from a bat if you were to remove all stickers, toe guard and replace binding with medical tape, is it a significant, noticable amount?

Depends on the brand. Focus stickers weigh less than half an ounce, I've stripped horrible thick stickers with gunky adhesive off CA's and older Indian brand bats before and  lost 2 ounces.

Same as Jake, some stickers weigh 0.5 of an ounce or less and some CA stickers, SS or BDM you can lose almost 2 ounces. Normally English printed stickers by adcal weight the least and Indian/Pakistani printed ones weight the most as they have several layers to them

From my experience removing stickers will not have any noticeable effect on the pick up of the bat. Removing the binding might make the bat pick up heavier because of weight being removed from wrong end. The pickup depends on  shape of the bat, you will not notice any difference unless the shape is altered which will require sending the bat back to bat maker.
Some heavy bats pick up lighter because of the way they are shaped and the weight is distributed. Stickers etc dont effect the feel of the bat much. I am not a batmaker, this is from experience...

Depends on the bat, something like TON bat with of stickers you can get anywhere between 0.5-1 ounce saving. Toe guard is usually 0.2 -0.3 ounce. Removing binding and replacing with tape also depends on the binding originally used, but it could save 0.2 oz maybe or thereabouts as tape adds back some weight.

I would personally not prefer to remove binding, but I have removed the stickers and toe guard in past and believe me, it does make a difference to pickup despite the small weights. Just removing the toe guard on one of my bats which saved only 0.2 oz weight made the pickup much better.

I don't believe you could notice a 0.2 oz difference. Next time only put 1 coat of oil on and see if you notice an improved pick up.

Depends on each person. For me, removing the toe guards DOES improve feel. As does removing stickers.

Also, oiling the bat doesn't add any weight. I have oiled a bat 3 times without the scale going up even 0.1 of an ounce.

I think some people get way too obsessive about this and it becomes a psycological issue rather than a physical one.
Why don't people select a bat at the shop that feels good for you instead of one that will feel better once I've removed the binding, removed the scuff, stickers, toe guard etc.

i Remove the binding and replace it with sports injury  tape where i grip the bat for a better  feel on the handle but  it makes no difference  to the weight of the bat

Yes tried all sorts os tapes do it to  get a thin the handle and for me a better feel as batmakers are reluctant to give  me the handles i want in case they snap but only remove the binding from where my hands grip the bat tend to get it accurate by marking drawing around my hands  on the binding with batting gloves on.
Not keen on removing all the binding from the bottom or top of the handle don't want  to risk having any  handle flex  vibration loss of power  handle twisting or broken shoulders

Not everyone has the luxury to go to the shop and select the bat based upon feel. There are many who have to rely on online purchases and more often than not, with online purchases, you dont get the bat that feels the way you want..

I generally do two coats of oil and on some of my bats it raises the weight by 0.2 oz while on others by 0.1 oz. I do observe that the bat feels slightly different after oiling and the pickup right out of the packaging (before oiling) is always better..However, I still oil it every time as this is something that cant be avoided...
