SG Players Edition
« on: March 14, 2017, 01:44:27 AM »

As many you have seen, ive been on a spending spree,
this forum has taught me well, buy the bats and answer questions later to loved ones,
Most would have seen my last few months of having a Warsop, Protos (FcSondhi), SM and more recently my SS Gladiator

This time i went for an SG Players Edition,
Specs.
2lb 10oz
41mm edge
60mm spine
full as full can get, barely any concaving

Pictures speak for themselves

Still in the shrink wrap but looks outstanding

Gladiator was a bargain but was just more expensive, both good bats with different pros and cons

Me love the SG players edition as well,

So much that I have 3 of them, absolute pingalicious cannons!

 :)

This old worn bugger still a personal fave:

41mm edges 65mm spine with tiny bit of concaving, but pings absolutely like a spring from very low down to the stickers... absolutely sensational pressing!

SG bats willow's look particularly white though, not sure if bleached a bit or not  ;) like super tantalizingly white willow.

Lovely bat. SG are making some great bats. Have only heard great stuff about SG legend and SG players edition for the past year. I also purchased a SG Legend and it's exceptional.

Stunning looking bat. Lately SG top grade bats have been coming in full profile in low weights which is really nice considering the price point.

Performance on both is outstanding, amazing bats

Press wise, the SS is slightly softer feeling press

The latest SG bats coming out are amazing even the low end ones. The ping is very nice. I think post launch of Sierra range most SG bats have fullish profile.

Yeah couple mates got low end ones and they perform amazing for the price paid. Really full profiles and beautiful middles
