North vs South
« on: March 14, 2017, 08:23:37 PM »

Anyone know if this is being streamed anyway?

Really interesting series and I really hope Mark Wood can return to full fitness and prove himself over the summer prior to the ashes

800 odd runs. Wait until these sides bat on April UK wickets lol.

Good to see Duckett and Wood having decent outings mind

I still think Duckett has potential to be in our top 6 test and one day. Not sure he was used that well by England

He will have a point to prove this County season I'm sure.

And I think everyone is hoping Wood can stay fit at full pace. I don't think he will but let's hope so.

Wood won't play another test sadly - and I;m not sure Duckett will, bit they will both make excellent additions to the the ODI squad.

Foakes
Livingstone
Crane
TRJ
Overton
Currants

all interesting Test prospects though!

Don't see any reason as why Wood still can't have a test career, England miss his pace badly

Because he can't cope with the workload. I simply can't see Wood bowling 35-45 overs in 3 days during a test match, he seems to breakdown far too often, and the best option for him may be managed spells.

Cherish it when he puts an England shirt on he won't last in a 5 day test, similar to Simon Jones, too much it going thru the ankle and knee in the last bit on the action

hope  I'm wrong but if England said he bowls 10 overs and/or 4 overs 50& T20 I'd be delighted myself.

If you look at the bowlers who have lasted over the years they have had very smooth actions or been physically very big and immensely strong.

Wood has a fairly slight build for a pace (genuinely scary quick) bowler.

Ball Mills
