malan has been hot and cold for years, big prospect, lost form for a couple of years and got it back in the last couple and played well for the mighty Middlesex

the one to watch is Joe Clarke I think

this lad is very highly rated. maybe not achieved his potential so far.

think he plays for Worcs. there's plenty of player just reach County level and don't go on....wonder if he will be one of those

Fair enough, given that he's been selected with those stats I'm guessing he must be a serious prospect! Thought the sides were picked on stats from last season though, anyone know if there were some discretionary picks by whatever selection panel organised it?

Duckett is so overrated. All good and well feasting on div 2 substandard bowling attacks. But just trying to slog aimlessly against good bowlers isn't as easy as it seems

only kidding but you would need a few hired hands I have visited both nets the west would trounce the south and the north would too, some good players out of the Dotball stable you would have to get Keiron and Mr Purchase out of forum retirement.

I'm by no means a big Duckett fan but the lad has some talent! Still only 22, needs to learn but feel he can be the equivalent of Warner for England. Not sure he is needed in Test cricket though. Jennings and Hameed will do a job and Cook isn't going anywhere soon.

And while there is gap between div 1 and div 2, its not as big as made out in the media, lots of good players down in div 2.

I rate Duckett...I think he has got some serious talent, at 22 he (presuming he proves a quick learner) has plenty of time to learn his game and what's required.

Westley of Essex might be a name on the horizon possibly...yes it's Div 2 bowling he is facing but looks a good player

but would like to see him  maybe get a chance with the Lions, don't think he has been on the latest tour.
