You could go through the whole season and point at inconsistencies and unfairness in when players are available to play. I don't like this aspect of the central contract system as it does compromise the integrity of the championship. But if we are to use this system, then we must respect the wishes of the England management.

Middlesex lost Finn for three games and, if you generously include breaks for being dropped, Compton for five.
Somerset....none
Yorkshire lost Root for 14, YJB for 13, Rashid for six, Plunkett 5, Willey 3.
