is this livingstone guy the same bloke who hit sommat like 40 sixes in a second team game a couple of years ago and hit the headlines?

Giles and Fattus both say future England player . They know their cricketers

First net with Cat he said to me, 'you have batted and bowled and i'm still not sure what it is you do'

a good judge of a player is our @FattusCattus

He's the lad that scored 350 off 138 for Nantwich with 61 boundaries.

Sam Robson ton up too......

he didn't do that badly maybe he's in the crowded group too......Balance has a ton already this year as well

it's very crowded just outside the test team.

or does it really show the step up to test level really is a big jump from County. There's lots of guys getting runs, are they good enough to displace anyone?

Something that just crossed my mind, Root's down to bat at 3 for Yorkshire despite them having Handscomb who is also perfectly capable of batting at 3 and will probably do so for the rest of the season when Root leaves. That presumably suggests Root intends to carry on at 3 for England and not drop back to 4?

I think it's about getting the opportunity to step up as England would rather bring back guys who have failed than bring in new faces. Also once in  your allowed to fail up to a point  its more  difficult to get out the side than it is to get in.
