Another Duffle thread
« on: March 26, 2017, 07:01:13 PM »

Hey Guys

I'm in the country now (UK) and am wondering what Duffle I should get? Currently have a coffin from duck and run, so need something more transportable.  I've been looking at the supernova and gm original but wondering if there are any others that are of note?

Supernova is a good size, get loads of kit in it! The new legend is quite a bit smaller, needs to be packed carefully

I think the Legend is better for that.

I had a GM Original from 2015. Zips were crap.

I've just switched from original kook pro players, to the phantom pro-r and so far loving it.

Kook held more, but finding the phantom much more managable to get stuff out, pack, open, and the fact its stiff enough to stay stood up empty, is a winner in my eyes.

ICON Signature duffle. And this year it's a wheelie. Great quality, loads of room, zips very good. Used mine all last year, superb. Just wish I'd hung on for the wheelie duffle. 60 notes.

I personally saw the Phantom PRO R duffle last night and loved it. Big enough to fit keeper kit as well. Just ordered one through their site

I've got the Orginal from 2016. Good bag, zips are fine. But not big enough for keepers.

From what I've heard, this years Legend is what last years Supernova was. The best.

The Phantom bag is the exact same bag that a number of companies use, H4L, B&S, Focus to name some off the top of my head, but with some small pockets chucked on the side. I'm mainly posting as the 'vault/volt' spelling mistake made me chuckle.

I saw this and the use of "volt" really irritates me, is it an attempt at making it sound cool?

I also really struggle with Phantom's spelling, clearly they've put a bit of effort into the branding but shoe 'volt' (I'm sure calling it a vault is nicked off a major brand as well) or a bat called the 'Commandor'... I'm not buying kit with spelling mistakes on it! Reminds me of a lad at my school who came back from India with a bat that had stickers proclaiming it to be 'hand carfted' 🙈

I can't decide which duffle bag to get, it don't mind the spelling mistakes on the phantom. Want something fit for purpose and something that's durable. And all rounder with your standard pieces of equipment (1 of each contrary to the grain on cbf)

I've shortlisted the list down to phantom pro r 2017, gn predator pro 3 or kook pro d1. Anyone have any of these bags and what are the verdicts?

I received my phantom Pro R couple of days back, and its great, feels bigger than it looks. For me spelling was not an issue either if that is the case. Soo far I have 2 bats, Leg guards, keeping leg guards, keeping gloves, 3 pairs of batting gloves, lots of inners, helmet , a pair of shoes, and other small accessories and still plenty of space left. It's worth the money. I also looked at KOOK P1 and felt great about that it was just the main compartment felt a lot smaller than Phantom maybe because the way zip was structured. You can't go wrong with either

I saw the video that "IJC" did and the phantom bag looked good - if I was in the market for one I would go for that but I would want a H4L one to match the rest of my kit lol
