Can anyone recommend a supplier of Albion helmets, ideally from the uk?

Have used them for years as I prefer the fit but cant find a decent supplier through a google search, most only have limited or old stock

I'm not sure if they are still producing helmets anymore, a few designs popped up that we're looking at complying to the new safety standard but nothing has been officially released it seems.

Depends what you're after mate. I've just bought a few off eBay. I'm the same as you, for comfort, fit and visibility, Albion for me is the best.

They underwent a change of ownership and management last year.
Contact them directly for a UK supplier:

Customer support
customersupport@albionst.com

Sales:
trevor@albionst.com

Or there are a few sellers on eBay supplying them.

I've a black Albion Elite Pro helmet; decent quality, and doesn't make you look like a jockey, like most do.

There are some 'new' albion helmets ive seen at kingsgrove . They were just the old 98 model with a non adjustable grille and the screws were metalic colour instead of black . Disappointing for a company that used to be the bees knees to now just be rehashing old mutton dressed as lamb .  ;)

Having a look at their Facebook page it seems they are about to launch a new line of products at ISPO Munich (a sports trade fair) in a couple days, whether it has any relation to cricket remains to be seen though.

They were selling all the current shaped models over Christmas for half price so I’m guessing a new model is either in the making or imminent. Personally I still rate the Ultimate 98 which I have been using for years as the best helmet for both fit, weight and comfort.

Nothing announced unfortunately but looks like a new release is indeed imminent. Quite looking forward to it as I have always rated the shape of albion over masuri.

What is high impact protection apparel?

They are calling it sport-specific undergarment featuring custom points of impact absorption. Looks like they are focusing on rugby and cricket.

Anyone heard anything more about Albion. Loved the Ultimate 98, and their range in general. Becoming more and more difficult to get their gear.

Nope.....im keen to see if their padding range ever comes out (unfortunately,  I'm skeptical re albion these days ....if their new helmets never eventuate i wouldn't be surprised ).
