Hi there, I broke the handle on my GM 1885.
A) Will GM replace for free if I send to factory?
B) Alternatively, What are USA stores/individuals that would repair a handle for a reasonable price.
C) For (B) - what can I expect to pay?

Thanks

If you are in NY, NJ let me know. I know a guy who does it pretty decent job for very little money.

Bedesse sports in New York does it as well. I have heard very positive feedbacks.

So, I sent my bat to Crictech. It appears to be a hasty decision now. Richard has not been resposive to email or phone or text. I have no idea if he received the bat, whether it will be rehandled.
Any ideas on what my recourse is now or people in California who have dealt with Crictech/First choice cricket

Someone else on the forum also went through the same problem with Crictech. Contact user id Vishwas, I think he sent to crictech based on my advise and struggled to get his bat back.

From what I know, the reliable handle replacement service right now seems to be bedeesee sports, cricstoreonline, cricketmerchant and cricmax. If you are from Minneapolis, then cricket merchant might be the closest guy to you. Can't comment on this work, but he is very responsive to emails, WhatsApp messages and phone calls. Had good experience dealing with him in the past.

Give him time - my bat was received, fixed, and sent back to me in due time with no issues. Now that I see your post, there was also a lapse of contact during my handle replacement but job was done well. He infact contacted me when he needed a decision on bat's cleanup after he had had replaced the handle. Give him a few days.

Thanks, that is reassuring. However, the lack of acknowledgement is unbelievable in this day and age. All it takes is 30 secs or less to respond to a text message. I hope all is well with him.

Still no response from Mr. Richard.. Crictech/First choice. Looks like I lost a bat. Do you recommend I open a dispute with Paypal and at least get my money back.
