So Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli have used these grips with two coloured circles at the top - Tendulkar used a yellow one with black circles and Kohli for some time used a red one with white circles (though I've also seen Tendulkar with the latter).

Some time ago there was a guy from Australia on custombats called Aman who posted pic(s) of all of his SS bats gripped with these special yellow grips.
Tendulkar used them like crazy. There must've been something special about them, Tendulkar and Kohli being so fussy about their kit.

Now where the hell can I get them! I have looked and looked and looked!

One thing I noticed with Tendulkar is that he used very special grips that weren't so readily available!

I'm getting two of Virat Kohli's actual match bats, an MS Dhoni replica (made by BAS) and possibly a Gray Nicolls Omega XRD.

I'm looking to give them all the same grips.

Will be eternally grateful if anyone finds out where to get these grips.

Also, does anyone have a pair of Morrant International Ultralite Batting Pads for sale? Looking to buy a pair.
Thanks!

BDM use these grips, don't think they're anything special.

Oh thanks, Tom! No, I certainly the quality's much better than the standard Octopus grip otherwise Tendulkar wouldn't use them so much. As far as I could tell, most Asian players only used BDM grips back in the 2000s. Then I saw that Tendulkar continuously began to use those grips, and him being ultra-picky about his gear, used them time and time again. Nowadays, Kohli and many others use these grips.

Tendulkar more often than not comes down to my local cricket club (which I play at) during the summer, and he gave one of his special match-used bats to the head coach who coaches his son every summer. It also had the same yellow grip with two circles. Lol.

Will take my chances and try to ask him for a bat at the right time. Fingers crossed...
I know that he gave a fresh match bat to a friend of a friend who still has it in mint condition.

I don't think 'picky' is necessarily the right word to describe Tendulkar re kit . Yes , he had particular likes/tastes and stuck to what he liked . But he hoarded kit like a poor kid with non understanding parents , as opposed to a guy with more sponsors$  than anyone else on the planet . If many of the o.c.d afflicted forum members were forced to use some of the old , tired , ugly , dirty , mish-mashed , taped up, bodgy repaired kit of Tendulkars then I'm sure the would be 'triggered' .
I mean geez , i can remember seeing him with 'mrf' written on his morrants in wobbly , free hand sharpie , gloves with disintegrating tape falling off the worn fingers , and everyone knows about his 'yoga mat' as a shin bolster for his pads . Even i have the extra padding for my morrants sorted out much better than that ... and my bas players gloves look shmick not crusty . I think Matt Hayden had a lot to say about Tendulkars pads,  and his kit in general....some pros even thought he looked quite disheveled.

Interesting...

Never heard anything that negative about Tendulkar before. Could I possibly get a link to Matt Hayden says those things? I remember Matt Hayden being interviewed on cricket equipment and stuff, and all he had to say about Tendulkar's kit was that his bat was too heavy for many of the Australian players, even for a big guy like him; and that after Sachin had obliterated the Australian tour on a tour in the early-2000s, the whole team decided to take home copies of the renowned BAS Vampire bat.
Don't know how that would be anything like Sachin's bat, though... He's used a Vampire, but when has he ever he used a 'Vampire', specifically?

Never been a huge fan of tendulkar and dhoni ignoring corruption around the ipl. Twomplayers who have so much influence and have kept quiet due to their connections in the upper echelons of power...

Did he lie or did he review the situation with a cool head and stated what had had actually happened? In the heat of the moment, people don't always remember what was said.

Lied, footage showed he wasn't close enough to hear what was actually said.

I can't remember where these quotes would be ( i don't  know , maybe a sky sports doco on tendulkar , maybe a doco where he talks about steve waugh not rating haydens bats and g.n having not evoled as batmakers at that point... who knows ?) . Basically , I dont have eidetic memory of every cricket documentary I've ever seen , so sorry  i can't help you .
