Someone's gone a bit loco with the lignum vitae!!! That bat looks ruined...

Looks fine to me.

CP seems to be making some great bats although I haven't seen one live.

We're not getting into this soft pressing malarkey again are we... come on, I'm amazed people are still falling for it!

A bat is either pressed properly, or isn't - soft pressing has to be the biggest myth going!!

Well, we can beg to differ. Looks a rush job with a hard mallet to me. :)

In agreement with everyone re the indentations not being good / poor knocking in . For me a fully knocked in bat should be almost as flat as a freshly rolled/new bat.  When you get indentations its a sign to knock in lighter . Once this lighter knocking has done its job (without dents) you begin knocking in harder . You should get to a point where the same hardness of knocking that was previously denting no longer is causing dents . Then increase hardness of knocking in firmer etc until you can give it a fairly good whack right across the blade without indentation.

Bit off-topic, but has anyone seen this?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDFEEbUqXi0

Skip to 3:30 - the state of that Viking :( - surely no-one else knocks in their bats like this?!

Is it just me or does Paul look stoned in all of his videos? 🍄🚬

Look at the stickers on the back! More bubbles than an XL bottle of Fairy.
