I've found a way to hide a new purchase from the family and team mates, "send" my elite in for a "refurb" into a nice new RAW!

It's a fool proof plan, I'll let you know when I have the funds!

Not sure if this is the right area but fingers crossed for James Taylor playing in the test, would be some great exposure!

Bairstow was to do with the fact he has a contract with Slaz. Does Bell normally wear an Ayrtek?

Since Adidas don't do helmets I reckon he will wear it. He's certainly been netting in it.

At first I was a bit unsure of the look of Ayrtek lids, and I must say, I love 'em now!  Have to find a way to trash my current lid, so I can persuade the missus to buy one for an anniversary present!

Bairstow in contracted to Slaz who produce a helmet, Adidas have some link in with masuri i think but JT is very happy in his Ayrtek.

Bell and Trott both wore them for Warwickshire back in 2010 but since then i think Albion now provide helmets for the county. Would love to get them back on their heads but difficult when it comes at a cost :(

Tom out of interest are there many players who come to you an ask for the helmets away from an agreement. Just so they have a helemt which offers better protection?

Or are most players more interested in the freebies and cold hard cash?

hada few put our way through the ECb which was how we got them onto the up and coming England players such as Taylor, Bairstow, Harris etc.

Counties such as Warwickshire purchased a squads worth back in 2010 followed by Worcester in 2011, however our competitors have since gone in and given away product which as a small company we cannot afford to do at the moment. When players move from county to international level they become alot more appealing to sponsor due to the media spotlight :(

So im guessing then at as a player at a county you tend to be given equipment from your county rather than serach for the gear youself. (sorry to go off topic) Personally I would search around for what suited me, until the big money came (I guess that type of mindset does not help the less funded but better equipment and customer care)
