This weeks helmets
« on: February 01, 2010, 11:31:10 AM »

Got to knock these up this week to send out thought I would give a little preview of the shells before they undergo spraying etc before delivery.....

Stage one....raw state shells

Stage Two....Sprayed shell.....Blue and Red (any guesses as for where they are going yet?)

Next stage is is a sorting out the graphics to go onto them and putting together all the parts such as chin strap, liner, initials etc. before boxing them up for dispatch to their destination.

I think the Kiwi one would have been black...not blue.
So I am with stubbz on this one - ipl would be my first guess too!

Lol yeh sorry navy blue colour appears a bit dark in the pictures iphone camera for you with no flash!

Good guessing so far only one for the IPL other is another Sri Lanka shell to go with it.

hasn't trego been a bit of a journeyman? i expect the somerset one was kept for posterity while he whiled away time in kent/middlesex 2nd XIs ... still a long time if true :)

From what I've seen Trego seems to be flogging most of his kit on Ebay!

Spot on Mr Cricket....hes had 4/5 helmets now I think a couple with the 4 vent design and then the rest with 12 vents...couple of other Sri Lanka players also wear them though as well though so got to send a couple of others out as well.

Will stick up a couple of pics of the finished articles before they leave.

Id be suprised if hes had a helemt for 12 yrs unless hes become somewhat attached to it! County clubs have a budget to buy in their kit with as far as i know and players are issued helmets as aprt fo this deal.
