Robinsons (RS) Bat Review
« on: June 08, 2017, 07:20:47 AM »

After going through many glowing reviews about Robinson bats and their customer service, I decided to buy one for myself. I contacted Robinsons through their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/robinsonsports1937/ page and I immediately received a response from Mr. Surinder Singh from Robinsons. Within two days, he sent me the pictures of a few clefts based on my spec and on the same day he sent it to production.

I absolutely agree with the previous reviewers about the level of service Robinsons offers to one random customer; they treated me like one of their regular, VIP customers. Even after fulfilling the order, Mr. Singh was constantly in touch with me to ensure that I received the item in good condition and to make sure that if I was happy with the product.

About the bat:

2 lbs 9.5 oz
12 grains
G1 Grade
Virat Kohli profile
38mm edges
No concaving
Round handle

No difference in the pick up -- feels like 2/9ish.

Knocked in for a couple of hours before using it in nets; it pings very well. Looks like upper part of the bat requires little more little knocking in.

Price: Competitive, much more affordable than the branded ones and it is absolutely worth every penny. And, it arrived with a free and quality bat cover -- though I would have preferred a black color one.

Apart from the stickers, I am pretty happy with the bat.

Among all the bats I have purchased in the past few months (about 15 in the range of $150-$600), I'd rate this as one of the top 3 bats; If I take the price into consideration, no doubt, #1.

I am already working on my second order.

It looks to be a really beautiful bat, great profile and so big for the weight. I hope that you score many runs with it!

The only issue I have is the Union Flag label. I don't know why they need to put it on, but if they are going to use this national symbol at the very least they could avoid printing it upside down.

@Simmy - Depends on where you are located. Some of my friends spent between 250 to 275 USD to procure this bat from India.

Oh my lord that is a stunning bat...i had one arrive earlier in the week and I think i need to share pics of mine too :)...

from personal experience the bats do ping from the get go but I highly recommend gentle knocking and putting a scuff sheet on them for the first season. hope you get tons of run

If anyone is reaching out make sure you mention what handle you want too, RS will do a round handle by default - if not asked - but they do make a very nice oval handle as well.
