Mammoth vs Master 5000 vs Ton47
« on: June 08, 2017, 07:22:16 PM »

Anyone used any of these 'mid range' SS bats, or know how they compare against each other?

What's the general view on G2 SS bats, I see people buying expensive Gladiators and Maximus, but how are peoples experiences of the less expensive ones?

Good time, not a long time, in my experience.

Probably agree on this, sorted a teammate out with a rather nice master 2000 a while back which went very well, but apparently after two seasons the handle snapped clean off last week.

Brother has a Master 1000 he bought from me, now his favourite bat and pings everywhere. I recently had to service it to close up some de-lam on the edges but it's still a beast, very full profile.

I only sold it as I couldn't get on with the handle

I have a Ton 47 and it is a monster! Incredible ping. I would highly recommend you get one. It's the cheapest bat I bought and has the best ping :)
