At that price I'm going straight to b3 for a crown or H4L after seeing the bats they're knocking out over & over again.

At the time  of my vist there was no players clefts available if there had been i would have placed an order the one I saw was 2lb 8 but felt lighter  with ruler straight grains the   The blade was unblemished  with excellent ping and the blade finish was exceptional.
Also If I remember correctly  the players bats were then cheaper  than  £450.00

£450 is a lot of money for one bat!

You could get 2 G1 Hunts customs from @Vitas Cricket and still have some beer tokens left for that kind of money!

Ive only ever seen good ones. They all seem to be older shapes though. Curved face, smaller edges, higher spines, very round toe.

I've been there a few times and seen raw clefts arrive from JS Wright in all grades, I highly doubt Hawk get anything part made in.

If this helps I have an Hawk bat i picked the cleft it was pressed and  shaped   Inc  handle whilst I was in the workshop watching the  process the only part I didn't see was the finishing.
Visitors are always welcome if you wish you can pick your cleft  or buy a completed bat  or select an unfinished hawk part made and they will make a bat to your specs.

The other thing I noticed was the bats  face camber IMO  it seem slightly higher making  the width of the bat look smaller
