His Facebook page says he is busy setting up his showroom and didn't get a chance to do any review for 7-8 weeks. It was from 2 months ago.

I saw a post that there would be a new website soon, but he said the same thing years ago and it dragged on and on and never happened. It seemed like he hired someone that said they know what they're doing and it turned out they didn't.

Wasn't his entire business selling grey market imports from his spare room? Not what you'd call a long term plan.

As I understand it, he sells models which are not officially released in the UK. He just sources them from asian sellers and sells them here in UK with a mark up.

A few years ago was selling New Balance gear despite not having an account with New Balance UK. So was essentially buying them out the back door of the Sondhi factory, or via a contact in India.
Was selling a variety of models that weren't part of the UK range, and some that didn't seem to be part of any range at all as far as i could tell.

The very definition of grey importation.

Thing is for all the haters and I have had my battles with Hanif (about a b3 bat) long ago with him but he has out lasted some cricket shops and his prices are decent and lads who have bough only say good things so “gray” or not sell good bats at good prices !!!

He been in this game long enough must be doing something right ! And all the people I know speak very well of him !

He’s a solid guy and very honest - I have had countless exchanges with him, asking for every small detail about the bats I’m interested in, and not once has he tried to cover any facts that might hinder his sales. I must have pinged him about 30 bats now, and bought only 4 over the years. Never been disappointed.

To me this concept of “UK range” for Indian bats seems silly and overly beaurocratic. Not sure why buying directly from Indian factories and selling them is a bad thing. Also, he sells other brands too - GMs, CAs, H4L over the years.

He is one of the more honest retailers out there imho.

Not sure I mentioned that he wasn't honest, reliable, or that the bats were no good, merely establishing what a grey import was as some people above didn't seem to know, with one even seeming to be under the impression that he dealt with 'official companies'
