Is this normal

I have discovered this under the rear sticker of my 2 stripe B3.
Anyone seen this before? Is it filler?

Yes its filler, should not even be sold!

Disturbing from B3.


Had a mate refurb a bat and re handle from their recently, very disappointed. Not even the same shape handle! Missed delamination and wrong colour grip requested! Won't be going there any time soon @The Doctor , should not need to complain but send like there are some poor apprentices...

Filler isn't unusual in a knot. If it's in the back or way out of the playing area it shouldn't matter too much

If I'd paid £240 for a bat I wouldn't expect filler to be even in the same vicinity (let alone being hidden underneath the stickers...) - quite surprised that this appears to be fine with most?

Wouldn't want in my bat that said  The filler in that area of the bat  shouldn't affect the bats performance  as wood filler is designed  to flex with movement and  ::shouldn't crack.

Definitely understand how it feels underhand to hide it behind stickers. I don't know what grade a 2 Stripe is (stupid naming system), however I would hope for it to be downgraded on account of this. What does the face look like?

Most batmakers handle and treat their clefts in a way to remove or at the very least hide knots.

I've had 2 of theirs (a grade one and a £19 butterfly) and they are both very hard pressed. Will be good bats in 10 years time no doubt. At least with the B3 there was no complaint over the performance.
Lesson to us all. Go for the lower grades as they give the same results and cost you less and give less Agro in the long run.  I remember my dad saying something similar to me about girls.... he was right
