I wasn't going to reply to this thread, instead let it play out but actually I think we need to point a few things out.
1. The bat in question was brought back to us for a weight reduction, it got put back onto the machine and we removed 4 ounces (I think) - a link the this topic can be found here
http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=42394.02. We didn't hide anything - the knot location was under the sticker, we didn't move the sticker, or add a new sticker to hide this. This doesn't happen very often, and Chris is right,on a new bat this would be communicated to the customer before sale but as this was effectively a refurb, when the knot was revealed in the weight reduction - we filled, polished and stickered.
This goes on an awful lot, both in Asian, UK and Australian made bats -This is the main reason why companies have large stickers that cover a large area - to cover things up. B3 Cricket have fairly minimal stickers but above that are very honest with this sort of thing.
Lets play fair!
