T20 Blast
« on: July 07, 2017, 07:20:48 PM »

Another year, another fun summer of T20 awaits. That Gloucs/Middlesex game being a tie to start it all off as well

Good performance here from Sibley for Surrey considering we were in a bit of a sticky situation.

Yorkies got a decent start. 227 in 20.

Hales was enjoying the track, he was the 2nd wicket to fall and he got 47. Notts 55-2 at that time.

Draw and a last ball finish on game day 1! Good cricket.

Ipl didn't get a close game till 5weeks in.....

Now if only we could televise all the blast games, highlights packages? It may become successful enough to not need the franchise thing.

As much as I like Freddie. We're not even halfway through the game and I'm already tired of him...

Flintoff was terrible in the Big Bash, I thought he was just putting it on for the Aussie audience but that must just be his commentary voice

Luke Fletcher been whacked straight on the head as he followed through in his delivery stride, didn't have time to react or anything. He was able to walk off but doesn't look good. I hope he's okay

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Wasn't there today but another brilliant death over from Tom Curran get us over the line. Might be the answer England have been looking for...

How on earth did they let it get that close? I left when the 8th wicket went down at 106.

Penalty runs, Dernbach as the captain completely lost with the over rates. I will guess Borthwick/Sibley came on and Anderson demolished them.

I saw Sibley and Borthwick bowl their overs, so not entirely a satisfactory answer.

Borthwick's being picked as a bowler in this format, so shouldn't be considered a liability?
