Morning all

Last Thursday I dislocated the little finger on my right hand. It was only the end joint, with my fingertip facing the wrong way.
Being the imbecile I am, I popped it back in and continued playing.

Fast forward nearly a week and I've still got it buddy strapped to my ring finger. It's still slightly swollen and the end joint has limited movement. It's still rather sore and makes me jump if I knock it.

Has anyone else done similar? What is the rough recovery time for a dislocated finger, and will it work "normally" again?

Cheers
Cam

Did it to the same finger 2 weeks before footy season started, but the 2nd joint. it was bent sideways, Popped it back in and carried on game. Went to hospital after and scan showed it hadn't been put back in right so they had to have 3 attempts themselves. 3 months on, still sore as hell when it gets hit as I'm a keeper, and very very limited movement of the joint. So if say it's gonna always be a problem and painful, but not enough to hinder you. Should have gone to AnE by sounds of it though and got checked and sorted properly

Best to get it checked, I dislocated my little finger on my right hand over the winter. I let one of the lads pop it back in and thought nothing of it. Since its not regained any flexibility and faces the wrong direction. I'll defiantly be getting it sorted after the season has finished.

Defo get to A&E. I'm sure you can still play in the cup final, but these things have a habit of coming back to haunt you if not properly treated. Nobody on here will tell your skipper! ;)
