That is unbelievable in that weight. I recently got a Titanium in the 2.6-6.7 range with a full profile and great ping.

Assuming these are so light due to over dried clefts, do they put on weight with time?

VK shape is proper duck billed mate and so is this bat. As I mentioned, the bill LOOKS longer than a regular vk profile.
Can you post a profile shot with the bat standing @Shinpathy ??

I think it is just the angle of the camera shot giving the illusion, will provide better pics when I have the chance.

That is absolutely crazy. Those specs for that weight is ridiculous! You have an incredible selection! Super envious!

2.4 is crazy for the specs, have fun tho when it decides to give up in in 3 months time due to it being stupidly dry. May as well make a 75mm edge bat out of Balsa wood
achieve the same outcome

Can't think why you asked for minimum branding, those othe BDMs are so understated...  ;)

Probably about time some of those bats got some use isn't it? Good luck in getting some good runs, your teammates will be expecting it with all the top willow you have.

It means subcontinent bats need to scream at you sticker wise to announce their presence , the gn legend for example has buggerall identification in comparison , i suppose it lets over 100years of bat making do the talking.

Got it thanks.
But this scream has made a lot of changes in the
Cricketing world. Everyone wants bats from India now.
As a matter of fact all brands are made in subcontinent now.
GN is old brand...... 100 years
BDM is also old brand.... 92 years
Apart GN every grand has made big stickers now.
Once GN short form comes on the bats they will also make,
Bigger and louder stickers.

Gn do it both ways . An old school , minimal classy look for the legend, silver, ultimate , prestige, elite etc , and louder stickers for other bats . If you think gn haven't had a crack at bats suited( or marketed for)  to short form cricket then maybe you've not seen a kaboom ? . Have a look at the stickers on the back ..... they are multicoloured fireworks after all .
