You can just pop a cap on the top of the handle to make it a short handle couldn't you? I use shorter blade stuff anyway. Are the face widths the same?

That's true that you could "pop a cap" ...but it would affect the balance, would it not?

Do other countries stock the KW edition or just NZ?

The one in the photo looks massive.

I don't think these bats are available or made in large enough numbers. What good are pictures if you can't buy them! *thumbs down icon*

Looks on the face of it at least to be the same shape as the Players Choice but double the price
I suppose it makes sense that laser etching a player's name should add even more value than sharpie does. Just think how much they'd be going for if they'd lasered on 'Willyamsun'! ;)

Where? With large edges ?

At GCCC east Sydney. Big edges, full profile, square toe and picked up really well for such a big bat. Bat was grainy too. Not bad for the 500aud mark.

It is a "Pre-order" bat on their web site.

This poor guy is struggling. https://youtu.be/8u72mim-Txs?t=7 :D

Outstanding review @DorsetDan! Swear these by regulations are destroying the game.

Yeah , nice teview @DorsetDan . The silver and atomic were the only bats in this years range i was considering. .... until the xxx11 . I think the variability in shapes among the same model is a real negative .
Why dont you just stay on in oz .... you can have the video review job at gccc instead of that bloke who reminds me of the pubescent kid on the Simpsons who's voice is perpetually breaking !  :D

@Biggie Smalls I'm not sure my voice or look is an upgrade but I could provide the material to a suave, smooth operator :)

Interesting we both picked out the Silver and Atomic. Talking with the guys in thecricketwarehouse their standout was also the Atomic but they expected the generic meh bats to sell best.

I was going to drop in on you and say hi but had to dash... :)

Forgot to mention the XXX11... I missed the cut off to get one shipped to me in time otherwise I would have liked a look. See a good balance of everything.

Holy crap ! Hahaha ..... i need to go visit that place , where's it at ?

If you happen to pop into another store @DorsetDan a picture of the size difference between the two would be absolutely great.

Reviews are absolutely fantastic, have to admit I like the looks of the Atomic too. That and the XXX11 look by far the best this year.
