I was at Kilbirnie Sports last week when I had to pop back for a funeral from the uk. The players edition is meant to be a "Chris Lynn" style bat. Very full coverage but still complies with the new regs. Most seem to weigh 2.9 or 2.10 from memory.

The KWs are lovely bats, no concaving and still at the max size. They had one at 2.8 and the rest were 2.9.

No, they are full size SH. Big size, low weight.

@DorsetDan , great reviews!

I am disappointed to hear that the Signature didn't feel good. I had my eyes on the 50mm Signature in 2-12.

why do you think there is variability of shapes in the same model?

Signatures aren't supposed to be 50mm. Signatures are basically a smaller 50+ to conform to the new regulations. Only Meulemans got them in the 50+ shape and so their weights will be 2.14+. Regulation signatures are 2.12 minimum.

GN Marsh Atomic looks like an interesting shape. Anyone seen one in the flesh (guess you'd have to be around Perth)?

Just over the water, has anyone had hands on the KW Velocity? Same as the Velocity Players Choice but lighter weights?

I haven't,  but meulemans sells the marsh atomic....so might pop up somewhere outside perth too . Apparently grade 2 , 2lb9oz .
