Stem guard issues
« on: August 09, 2017, 02:04:19 PM »

I've been using my stem guard for around a year now and haven't really had any problems until now. The strap which connects the two guards together has started to bulge out the back which as a consequence has led to the two guard moving when I run and occasionally move quickly to play a shot (coming right forward or going right back) does anyone know a way in which I can stop this as when I tried to contact Masuri they didn't seem to understand the problem.

I've bought 2 stem guards and they both came with 3 different sized link straps for the 2 pads. Juts replace with a smaller strap. Otherwise you might have to do a DIY shortening job with some tape.

I am currently using the smallest size strap which is really strange, I even watched tutorials of how to do it as I put it together which is really strange

The most recent addition to the stemguard is an optional clip system to permenantly attach to your grille, there's also an additional strap shorter than the original 3. Retailers were issued with clips and straps to update existing stock, you could ask masuri for these additional components and i think it should rectify your issue

I have just spoke on the phone to Masuri and they are sending me a smaller strap and I believe the clips tomorrow free of charge, all I have to pay is the postage it would seem
