I reckon more people would opt for matching pads and gloves with different bat....me , however,  I'd feel better with gloves and bat that matched with different pads ( something about looking at your hands and seeing the bat and gloves matching seems better to me) .
Or you can pkay it safe and get unbranded softs or very subtle /almost unbranded softs ....hfl stuff is a good example of this ).

You have to match your kit OCD to your standard.

I always want gloves and pads to match. But I bat at no10 in our 3XI - so I would look a complete titwank if I used a matching bat too!


Most tailenders at my level don’t even know what end to hold!!

Was thinking about this as season starts soon...

1 pair white BDM Sachin style sausage fingers (currently being borrowed by brother)
1 pair purple and white BDM Sachin style sausage fingers - my current match gloves
1 pair BOSS gloves... impulse buy but don't like colours... just waiting to donate somewhere
1 pair AM Monarch gloves - lovely soft leather but they are not sausage gloves but love the quality and soft feel of leather

but with finger protection like the BDMS I have on every finger and also leather strip on the tips.. one can just hope and dream... I really love the soft leather fee of the Pakistani gloves...

new season means new kit lol

2x neon gloves (with matching pads)
1x Aldred Gloves (to match bats)
1x H4L custom gloves (with matching custom pads)

Just need a H4L bat again lol

Got 3 pairs in my bag, had 2-3 older pairs but gave them away or threw them in the team kit bag.

1 Woodstock Platinum White
1 Newbery SPS
1 Cicada Not sure of the model got them on eBay but great value for 30 quid.

Tend to wear the PSP's for nearly everything, and occasionally give the others a run out to wear them in/out of guilt for owning more gear than I need.

Had an ebay cull of a couple of pairs not long ago but still have four pairs - Kook Pro Kahuna, Kook Ice, M&H type1 and type3.

M&H will be sold will prob gain another pair or two before the season starts

As i am an old (no swearing please) and only playing once a week now - i had a big cull a while back and donated all my old gloves to the club.

Left with 3 pairs -

1 x Choice Victory L.E. (these are to be purchased shortly and be this years match gloves)
1 x Choice Trafalgar
1 x Newbury Kudos
