Masuri OS2 Swoppa Band Issue
« on: August 29, 2017, 06:53:50 PM »

After batting for a reasonably long time at the weekend in pretty warm conditions the swoppa basically turned into a sponge.
I had to squeeze it out every few overs and then with the occasional drop of sweat dripping down as the bowler is running in.
Does anyone know if the Vision swoppa fits the OS2 model?

It doesn't, but Masuri are releasing OS2 swoppabands and pro foam variants soon, including in different thicknesses for fit adjustment. If you give them a buzz they may have some you can buy, I haven't got any in stock yet.

Just sent a tweet to Masuri. They suggest calling Todd Hutcheson on 01962717801 to order the Pro Foams.

Thanks

I second this, Todd sorted out my stem guard problems straight away so that's the line I'd go down

They are releasing something called the super soppa swoppa, precisely to deal with excessive sweat. I've had some for myself and our very sweaty aussie as a trial go and they seem to work very well. Not entirely sure when they will be available in terms of promotion and retail stock, i assume it will be tie in with 2018 retailer stock orders, but they are ready and in packaging as you can see so if you ask masuri nicely you might get one.
