This is one I did for a First class player. It was stuffed. Have a scroll through the 5 or so photo's. The bat is being used again and is going fine. Your one looks similar.

I shall be attempting the fix myself.

Just gonna purchase a few more clamps, oh and some balls to cut it open and glue it where it's delamination!

Good luck. It looks very repairable particularly as it seems easy to get right under the layers.

Put some tape on it? I bet that bat is performing very nicely.

@smilley792 ,  I would be concerned about the edges or the areas close to the edges. Having said that, the strips that have come off or are loose near the middle can be glued and then put under weight. I repaired my captain's bat that way where I did not use clamps or a vice but put the bat between two cardboard boxes ( spine firmly between the boxes so the face remained flat ) and put a few 5 lb weight plates on top. Delam gone!

It was..... But the area that has delaminated now has very little rebound. Which is bad for my game when It's where I mainly hit it(that and the inside edge........)

As much glue as you can get under the lifted wood, clamp, sand and off you go.

Would it work to use a bag of play sand or something like it as a weight on the face? You could glue up the face (might as well just tip the bottle on - kind of a joke, kind of not) Wrap the face in cling film, lay it spine down and support it so the face remains flat and then lay a bag of sand on it... that would have enough give to match the shape of the face and apply pressure evenly... more weight could be added on top but should distribute evenly across the face due to the nature of the sand. One dry and sanded other specific areas that need more attention can be regales and clamped in a targeted way.

Just an idea I wish I had had when I did our first team captains bat that had slit in 2 across the bat exactly the middle of the toe all the way across for about 3/4 inches up the bat. It was basically 2 flaps at the bottom of the bat...

Letting you bat get in such shape goes against what this forum stands for..... take yourself outside and have a word with yourself and order at least 3 new bats from our sponsors

Your probably right. Using such a lovely stick to score runs with is very much against forum tradition............
